THE APPLICATION PROCESS
First, for apprentice applications you'll submit your application online with your personal details and initial responses.
You’ll receive an email immediately confirming we’ve received your application.
For graduate and post-graduate applications you will submit your application via your college if your college is within scope.
You will then be invited to complete an untimed online assessment, designed to understand your potential and approach to learning and work.
This assessment includes:
• 5 written questions reviewed using AI technology, which will provide a recommendation on your fit for the role against defined criteria
• One video question reviewed by a recruiter.
To explore which competencies you will be assessed against during this stage of the assessment process, please visit our
Competency guidance documentation.
To find out more about how we use AI during our recruitment process, please see
Sapia candidate explainer
and our
Recruitment Privacy Notice.
We use AI to support early-stage assessment review, specifically written responses, however, recruiters assess all video responses and all later stages, and final hiring decisions are always made by our Hiring Managers.
You have the right to request a full review of the recommendation and any decisions made as part of the recruitment process.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a face to face or virtual final stage assessment.
This stage usually includes:
• A competency based interview
• A group exercise
We assess your skills, behaviour, and potential. Feedback is available upon request following this stage.
Once all assessment centres are complete, you’ll be informed of the outcome within 2 weeks of your application, along with next steps where applicable.
All candidates receive an outcome.
