Responsibilities
Strategic
• Provide assistance to leads as needed to maintain the vision and strategy around Ariba BAU Activities.
• Support ideas for system improvements presented to leadership
Operational
• Receives global queries
• Support business end users with application support when required and communicate requests clearly
• Deal with heavily scripted applications with the requestor
• Collect enough information to understand the root cause of the issue and route to applicable PEH team where needed
• Maintain good work relationship with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure continuous alignment and buy in
• Adhere to procurement processes and activities with other procurement teams
• Collaborate / supports with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the business objectives and create long-term value through sourcing, procurement processes and governance
Skills
• 7-10 years of experience working as an Ariba support analyst, with good knowledge in how operating systems and software works
• Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability clearly explain information and issue to end user
• Able to collect information properly and understand root cause of technical issue
• Able to successfully implement the recommended approach
• Specific experience in assisted sourcing process lifecycle including, capabilities in conducting tactical and strategic sourcing activities, with prior experience working within a Procurement Excellence Hub
• Demonstrates a track record of value delivery and conflict management capability and deliver against key metrics
• Demonstrates effective continuous improvement skills
• Good understanding of BT’s operating environment
• Effective relationship management skills & ability to influence decision making with senior stakeholders within a matrixed environment
