About the role
This role plays a key part in strengthening BT’s strategic alignment with major UK voice partners. It is responsible for shaping and delivering joint go‑to‑market plans, driving partner success, and supporting sales growth across BT’s voice portfolio.
Working closely with product, sales, commercial, marketing and enablement teams, the role ensures BT maximises the value of its voice partner ecosystem, creating customer value, competitive differentiation and strong commercial outcomes.
It directly supports BT’s ambition to be the leading, trusted provider of secure connectivity solutions in the UK.
What you’ll be doing
- Build strategic plans with voice partners to develop mutual growth, wrapping governance structure such as QBRs to ensure progress is being made and senior executives are aligned to plan
- Shape and deliver joint go‑to‑market strategies with key UK voice partners to support commercial growth.
- Collaborate closely with BT’s sales teams to drive joint account planning, execution and pipeline development.
- Build and maintain strong partner relationships, ensuring alignment, mutual success and structured governance.
- Organise partner enablement activities, including training, campaign development, proposition launches and co‑selling motions.
- Identify new market opportunities and activate partner‑led campaigns to support customer acquisition and revenue generation.
- Represent BT in partner events, forums and planning sessions, while tracking and reporting partner performance and outcomes.
Essential Skills / Experience
- Proven partner management or telecoms/tech sales experience, with a solid understanding of the UK voice and telecoms market.
- Experience planning and delivering joint go‑to‑market strategies that drive partner growth and commercial success.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, including engagement up to VP level.
- Clear communicator able to translate complex propositions for varied technical and commercial audiences.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with evidence of contributing to profitable revenue growth.
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Experience with voice vendors such as Genesys or RingCentral.
