About the role
The Digital Change transformation manager will define and manage programmes and transformation initiatives within the Digital change journey. This role will own the plan and execution of these initiatives and ensure that they are meeting the objectives of the overall Digital change journey and integrated with the cultural initiatives in Digital. These initiatives are basic components of the overall Digital Change Programme which seeks to positions Digital as an enabler for BT and its customers and an inspiration and driver of innovation.
What you’ll be doing
1. Digital Change Transformation Delivery –
• Leads the delivery of transformations and projects defining and maintaining realistic plans and managing project finances and progress against confirmed value drivers
• Build virtual teams to progress the transformation initiatives
• Acts as a credible advisor to key decision-makers, using data-led/technical insight and plans to help major business decisions to enable the Digital change journey
• Construction of programme and status materials to enable the influencing of stakeholders across Digital and ensure alignment with management on strategy, key decisions and progress.
• Makes decisions on progressing actions to assist problem resolution and project delivery.
• Identifies opportunities to improve key benchmarks and value drivers
2. Process Improvement/data analysis - Use data analysis and process redesign to identify improved ways of working that deliver tangible business benefits for Digital
3. Problem Solving – You will use a structured approach to identify problems, facilitate activity to identify root causes and develop optimal countermeasures to drive measured outcomes.
4. Facilitation – You will facilitate large group workshops to scope, mobilise and drive project delivery.
5. Stakeholder Management – You will building relationships and working with key partners across Digital and the units it works with
6. Change Agent - Use of change implementation principles and tools to effectively implement sustained change into operational teams. Use communication and engagement to embed changes.
7. Cultural change – you will role model the BT behaviours and the cultural change within Digital ensuring that the transformations you have responsibility consider both the ‘What’ and the ‘How’ of our journey
8. Transformation strategy: you will driving continuous transformation and improvement of the operating and delivery model across the Digital change journey
Essential Skills / Experience
• 3 to 5 years experience of portfolio management, project management or PMO
• Experience in change management frameworks
• Ability to build effective transformation and project plans to deliver benefits
• Conflict resolution skills, enabling the individual to cut across organisational and financial complexities to deliver meaningful change and to lead a multi-skilled team
• Knowledge of process improvement/project delivery/change management tools and techniques
• Ability to work with key stakeholders across Digital identify, scope, prioritise and mobilise transformation work packages.
• Confident managing board level/executive stakeholders across BT Group.
• Able to develop compelling reasons for change.
• Excellent logical investigation/root cause analysis skills.
• Confident leading teams through change & ambiguity in ever-changing environment as well as coaching and mentoring colleagues as required.
• Is an excellent collaborator: Builds great teams that are often ‘virtual’ in nature and often inclusive of people from other parts of BT Group.
• A confident and engaging managers who role models through their own behaviour and actions, the BT behaviours

While movements can still happen, the new compensation for the role if applicable will be in effect from 1st July
