About the role

 

  • BT International operates as BT Group’s global business unit, delivering connectivity, security and digital solutions to multinational organisations, international government institutions and strategic partners headquartered or operating outside the UK.
  • We are focused on driving global revenue growth through selling our core global network, global managed voice and AI enabled managed services to a focussed set of strategic customers aligned with our go to market strategy
  • Within Commercial we define who, what, where & how we sell, turning strategy into seller behaviour through our sales governance processes, tools and incentives.  We provide bid management support for complex deals and drive best practice across our managed contracts
  • The Trading & Analytics team play a key role, providing actionable insights to help sales leadership make better, data driven decisions to execute our go to market strategy and deliver our financial commitments

 


What you will be doing – your accountabilities

 

  • Drive sales cadence within sales teams including pipeline hygiene & forecast accuracy
  • Champion the go to market strategy and support sales teams to manage pipeline in accordance with commercial guardrails
  • Monitor sales performance and associated KPIs, leveraging AI tools to provide actionable insights to trading business partners and sales management to identify / mitigate risk & improve performance
  • Support trading business partners in preparing content and supporting analysis / narrative for business unit reviews and the unit mid-term business plan (MTP)
  • Provide cover for trading business partners, including relevant cadence calls and ad-hoc analysis for sales directors and their sales management teams during periods of absence
  • Subject matter expert on salesforce, opportunity management, go to market strategy and associated guardrails / KPIs
  • Support relevant transformation workstreams and programs

What you’ll need to succeed (Skills & Experience)

 

Essential

  • Relevant experience in a commercial / sales operations function within a global sales environment
  • Strong data analytics and ability to surface actionable insights 
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Fluent English language in writing and speaking

 

Preferred

  • Strong stakeholder engagement / management across multi-functional global teams
  • Understanding of Salesforce CRM (especially opportunity management flows and reports / dashboards)
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to automate report production and interrogate data
