About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining enterprise level Micro Service strategy. Candidate will also be supporting design, development, and maintaining the code quality. Candidate should be able to manage a small team to manage technical delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, providing designs and development of spring boot based microservices, core Java with sound understanding of multi-threading. Providing expert troubleshooting of application issues, interfacing effectively with E2E Designers, business owners, and infrastructure engineers, following and enforcing policy, and creating documentation for changes
What you’ll be doing
• Defining the enterprise level Micro Service build and maintenance strategy, implement best practices, drive adoption.
• Hands on maintenance of enterprise level Micro Service platform infrastructure and manage operational efficiency.
• work with stake holder and understand business requirement.
• Perform Enterprise level Micro Service design and deployment on cloud platforms.
• Work in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing.
• Work on with Docker, Kubernetes for software development & deployment
• take up responsibility and drive the assignments.
• Actively define solution, which includes evaluation, selection, and integration of necessary technical components to create solution designs that support the defined functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure that the designed/reviewed solutions conform to architectural requirements such as scalability, maintainability, reliability, extensibility, usability and security.
• Ability to communicate with the business owners, understand business requirement and converting those to technical specification.
• Analyse and solve problems and test a wide array of application changes.
• Analyse the impact of decisions before execution.
• Debugging of the code
Essential Skills / Experience
• Min 8+ Years of hands-on experience on java-based application, preferably spring / spring boot based micro service.
• Experience on micro service development using spring boot, core java.
• Should have sound understanding of OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis & Design) & Design patterns.
• Strong experience in setting and running spring boot based micro services on prem, hybrid and cloud
• Micro Services using REST, SOAP, GraphQL methodology.
• Must be good in JSON marshalling, unmarshalling and manipulation using various libraries like GSON, Jackson.
• Should understand usage of maven for building the code.
• Have sound understanding in monitoring, scalability, performance.
• Good understanding about security policies and Authentication and authorization.
• Good understanding of protocols and transport layer security, MTLS, OAuth.
• Good in using design tools for writing HLD & LLDs like Plant UML, graph.io etc.
• Cloud experience on AWS is good to have.
• Have sound knowledge of event driven architecture using SQS, Kafka, Rabit MQ etc.
• Hands-on experience in automated unit testing and related tools, e.g.: Junit, Mockito, postman etc.
• Hands on experience JIRA tool for planning and tracking of the work.
• Knowledge of CI / CD and awareness of tools like Jenkins, Gitlab-CI, SonarQube etc.
• Should be able to learn and pick-up the market trending technologies quickly.
• Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile.
• Should be able to adapt AI tools like amazon Q or copilot
Desirable Skills / Experience
• Certification in Core Java
• Good understanding of AWS services
• API catalogue tools Swagger, Open API
