Flexible Working
The BT group operates a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week.
About the role
This role focuses on ensuring that products not only launch successfully, but deliver real value once in market.
You will work across major product, content and transformation initiatives to define clear product positioning, support launch readiness and improve product performance over time. Acting as a product-side partner to Marketing, Commercial and Service teams, you will bridge the gap between delivery and real-world customer outcomes.
You will help teams clearly articulate who a product is for, what problem it solves and why customers should care, ensuring consistency across the organisation. Using customer, market and performance insight, you will identify where products are not landing as expected and support the actions needed to improve outcomes.
More broadly, you will help build a more customer-led product culture — shifting the focus from “did we launch it?” to “did it work?”.
What you’ll be doing
- Define and communicate the customer problem, product value and positioning for major product changes
- Provide product input into launch readiness, ensuring clarity on audience, messaging, risks and success measures
- Ensure the product story is consistently understood across Marketing, Sales, Service and Operations
- Bring customer, market and performance data into product and launch decisions
- Translate technical, service and network performance into customer and commercial insights
- Monitor in-life product performance, identifying issues and driving follow-through with the relevant teams
- Support a continuous improvement culture, helping teams learn from launches and use insight to strengthen future product decisions
Essential Skills / Experience
- Experience in product success, product marketing, product management or related roles
- Experience supporting product launches or cross-functional product initiatives
- Experience using customer insight, behavioural data, market evidence or product performance information to support product or commercial decisions.
- Proven ability to translate complex product or technical detail into clear customer and business narratives
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Experience in customer-led, digital or subscription-based environments
- Experience working across Marketing, Commercial and Product teams
- Familiarity with Agile or scaled delivery environments
- Experience influencing stakeholders without direct ownership
