The Network Engineering Professional supports the delivery of engineering activities that contributes client technical requirements, deploying optimal networking and connectivity solutions that enable clients and the enterprise to achieve their operational and business goals.

What you’ll be doing

Undertake Accommodation Infrastructure Delivery activities including (but not limited to): Operations and Maintenance Management, Health and Safety, Security, Energy and Sustainability, Capital Improvements and Expense Management, etc  via internal partner organisations or vendors (outsourced relationships).
Undertake the analysis and supporting of investments planning and long-term optimisation to enable the achievement of the overall strategy to deliver Accommodation Infrastructure related projects in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
Support key Accommodation Infrastructure Delivery projects (i.e. expansion, fit out and uplift) from concept to implementation, including business case computation, vendors management, budget management and authorisation of the works.
Execute engineering efforts to ensue currency and supportability of networking technology.
Collate data, reports and information supporting technology lifecycle planning, including contributing to the development of the technology roadmaps and Network Health Assessments.
Support the implementation of continuous improvement in tools and processes in the scope of Accommodation Infrastructure Delivery, including the standardisation of service metrics and best practices for service delivery activities.
Support the group’s Health and Safety agenda design, implementation and monitoring according to defined requirements and standards. 
Undertake activities that contribute to the implementation of core and cloud infrastructure security to manage risks and exposure.
Coordinate Accommodation Infrastructure Delivery activities for specified suppliers to ensure services objectives are met within service level agreements (SLAs) and quality.
Communicate with all levels of service, engineering and operations management on technical solutions.
Ensure technical and operational alignment between the suppliers and various internal departments.
Act as point of escalation for customer complaints related to delivered services.
Support in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within the area of Accommodation Infrastructure Delivery.
Support the delivery of routine daily activities and be accountable for system design, build, testing, validation, maintenance, and ongoing support of all Accommodation Infrastructure components.
Support the installation, testing, and setup of new network hardware both physical and virtual, operations and maintenance, energy management, building engineering, inventory management, business continuity, etc.
Organise material and data for documentation, knowledge transfer and training to successfully land existing and new solutions into the support organisation.
Support in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within Accommodation Infrastructure Delivery.
Follow standards for global network infrastructure, including security, safety, environment, connectivity, energy, monitoring,...
Support periodic reviews with stakeholders to follow-up on reported incidents and specific requests.
