About the role

Shift pattern: 12‑hour shifts on an 8‑day cycle — 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off, and a remote final night shift for balance

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing incident support for the day-to-day running of the infrastructure estate within Enterprise Cloud
  • Deploying changes to support the business on Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure
  • Implementing service requests to support the business on Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure
  • Collaborating with our vendors to resolve complex faults.
  • Collaborating with Application Support and Service Management teams to troubleshoot high impact incidents.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with proficiency in managing Linux operating systems and virtual and physical hardware.
  • Experience of Linux Operating Systems via command line.
  • Experience of working with virtualisation technologies such as VMWare ESX, Microsoft Hyper-V or Kubernetes
  • Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach
  • Demonstrated commitment to driving improvement in processes and systems.
  • Sound knowledge of Incident and Change Management processes, with familiarity in using ServiceNow being desirable.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders at various levels of technical expertise.
