About the role
As an Entuity resource, you will be Accountable for Gud and operating network monitoring for large scale enterprise and hybrid infrastructures. The role focuses on understanding, monitoring, and reporting across multiple network technologies, including SD WAN platforms, as well as leveraging API driven automation to enhance observability and operational efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting edge network monitoring technologies in a dynamic and evolving environment, Guiding mission critical infrastructures and driving continuous improvement in monitoring and reporting capabilities.
What you’ll be doing
Entuity Deployment & Management
- Deploy, configure, and manage Entuity Network Analytics at enterprise scale
- Configure device polling, thresholds, alerts, dashboards, and reports
- Perform upgrades, health checks, maintenance, and tuning activities
Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Monitor routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and load balancers
- Monitor via SNMP, ICMP, Syslog, and REST APIs
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) for network and performance issues
- Optimize alerts to reduce noise and increase monitoring accuracy
Integrations & Automation
- Integrate Entuity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)
- Integrate and monitor SD-WAN controller platforms
- Design and implement API-based ingestion workflows and automation
- Support SLA reporting, capacity planning, and NOC operations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Network Engineering, NOC, Infra, and Automation teams
- Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Essential Skills / Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in Network Monitoring / Network Operations
- Strong, hands-on experience with Entuity (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, SNMP, VLANs, Routing & Switching)
- Knowledge of routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
- Experience in multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto, F5)
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, authentication methods
- Scripting experience—Python preferred
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
Good to Have
- Experience with cloud or hybrid networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Exposure to automation tools like Ansible, Terraform
- Experience with other monitoring platforms (SolarWinds, Netcool, Dynatrace, ThousandEyes)
- Relevant certifications: ITIL, SD WAN-Cisco/Meraki, etc.
