About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 5-10 years of experience who will design, build, automate, and evolve enterprise-scale infrastructure and application platforms. This role focuses on platform engineering, cloud-native operations, automation, and reliability, enabling engineering teams to accelerate software delivery while maintaining security, scalability, and operational excellence.
The role encompasses end-to-end ownership of DevOps platforms, Kubernetes-based infrastructure, CI/CD ecosystems, and enterprise automation frameworks. The successful candidate will drive platform standardisation, infrastructure modernisation, observability adoption, and reliability engineering practices across complex application landscapes.
This role combines hands-on engineering expertise with platform ownership, enabling the development of scalable, secure, and resilient solutions through automation, infrastructure as code, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll be doing

Platform Engineering & Automation
Design, implement, and maintain scalable DevOps and SRE platforms.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git-Ops and Infrastructure as Code principles.
Standardize deployment processes through reusable automation frameworks and templates.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
Kubernetes & Container Platforms
Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters across on-premises and cloud environments.
Support production-grade containerized applications and microservices.
Implement service mesh technologies and secure service-to-service communication using mTLS.
Drive platform reliability, scalability, and resilience initiatives.
Cloud & Infrastructure
Manage on-prem and private cloud platforms.
Design highly available infrastructure architectures and disaster recovery solutions.
Optimize infrastructure utilization, performance, and operational costs.
Security & Secrets Management
Implement and manage enterprise secrets management solutions using HashiCorp Vault.
Configure Kubernetes authentication, policies, roles, and secret engines.
Automate certificate lifecycle management and secure application access.
Ensure compliance with security best practices and organizational standards.
Observability & Reliability Engineering
Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
Analyse system performance, capacity, and availability metrics.
Support proactive incident management and root cause analysis.
Improve platform reliability through automation and continuous optimization.
DevOps Toolchain Management
Manage tools such as Jenkins, GitOps platforms, Nexus, SonarQube, Dynatrace, and artifact repositories.
Enable application teams to adopt DevOps best practices and platform capabilities.
Drive quality gates, security scanning, and deployment governance.
