About the role
The Software Engineering Professional supports the execution of BTs software engineering strategy through cross-functional delivery, contributing to the development of technical solutions and platforms that enable innovation and engineering excellence.
What you’ll be doing
· Evaluate existing lead to cash processes and recommend improvements.
· Design and implement streamlined processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
· Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, and operations to gather requirements and align on process improvements.
· Configure and customize systems to meet business requirements and ensure seamless integration across platforms.
· Define data requirements and oversee data migration activities during system implementations.
· Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into lead to cash processes.
· Analyse data to identify trends, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive data-driven decisions.
· Should have implemented implementation level knowledge in SAP Integration Suite
· Should have implemented multiple SAP webservices and APIs
· It would be preferred if the candidate have knowledge on SAP Cash Management and bank integrations,
· Experience in Agile development practices preferred
· Prior knowledge of handling IT Controls for operational systems holding finance data
· Willing to work in UK time zone
· Strong communication skills, and ability to influence stakeholders
· Good understanding of financial cycle knowledge·
Essential Skills / Experience
· Config and Design in SAP
· Experience in S4 & MDG
· Ability to take ownership of solutions, from design stage to deployment.
· Support testing – CIT/E2E/UAT
· Analyse code and review designs
· Experience on cloud platforms a plus
· Work with geographically diverse development teams
· Stakeholder management
· Work in Agile and Waterfall delivery models
· Conduct Show & Tells with business users, propose solutions which provide business value to users.
· Bachelor/master’s degree from recognized institutions
· Proven experience 3-7 years in lead to cash process optimization and system implementation.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels of an organization.
· Functional knowledge of financial process.
· Strong understanding of SAP workflows.
· Strong experience in SAP FI
