In this Job, you will be responsible for delivering core analytical insight across the Plusnet Consumer business, using data from a wide range of sources. Your analysis will support key stakeholders in making informed decisions through high-quality, actionable insights to deliver a holistic customer view. You will also apply experimentation and test-and-learn approaches to identify opportunities, measure impact, and drive measurable business value.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop self-serve analytics that underpin the Plusnet roadmap, enabling business stakeholders to make data driven decisions.
- Design, implement, and analyse experimentation frameworks, including A/B and multivariate testing, to evaluate product, marketing, and customer initiatives.
- Deliver regulatory analytics - ensuring robust methodology, governance standards, and clear documentation to support compliance.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling insight narratives that influence business decisions and drive measurable outcomes.
- Apply advanced SQL and Python techniques to extract, transform, and analyse large, complex datasets across multiple data sources and platforms.
- Proactively look for new ways to interpret data and new analytics techniques.
- Present analytical outputs in a simple, compelling manner, ensuring non-technical stakeholders understand key drivers, risks, and recommended actions.
- Working with marketing stakeholders to create clear briefs/understanding of their data analytics and insight needs.
- Respond to ad hoc requests for information and data, challenging what is required where appropriate.
What skills you'll need
- Strong numerical analysis and the ability to interpret complex data to spot trends.
- Hands‑on experience with SQL, BigQuery and Python for data extraction and manipulation.
- Proficiency in Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy for data wrangling, transformation and automation.
- Ability to build clear, insight‑driven dashboards using tools like Qlik Sense.
- Confident communicator able to present technical insights and recommend data‑driven actions.
- A proactive, problem‑solving mindset with the ability to prioritise and perform under pressure.
