Why this job matters
We’re transforming how BT Group manages compliance, risk & assurance activities in relation to Industry Best Practice. We’ve been on a journey with Cyber Security and data risk areas to date but want to expand our framework to other Risk categories.
We need key project managers to face in to the business stakeholder communities to understand problems and opportunities, help bring to life future solutions and coordinate delivery management activities to realise business outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
- Work with an integrated team in the delivery of end-to-end projects/ programmes contributing to commercial benefit, deliver on time, within budget and to agreed quality criteria from conception through to market launch and transition into operations.
- Monitor issue escalations, project risks, dependencies and project changes, ensuring timely intervention and communication to stakeholders.
- Consult on complex projects/ programmes using advanced technical knowledge with global impact (cross-functional) driving through execution, analysis, recommendation and implementation.
- Contribute to the development, documentation and implementation of projects/ programmes and change initiatives in line with BT Group policies and strategies, defining and maintaining realistic project plans and monitoring project finances and progress against agreed quality and performance criteria.
- Support project/ programme communication with stakeholders with timely reporting on performance and where decision making is required, providing all information needed to enable well-informed decision making.
