The purpose of this role is to facilitate alignment and planning readiness by working closely with other tribe RTEs to map dependencies and deliver end to end functionality. You'll co-ordinate with testing leads to plan testing, be responsible for managing delivery to live with release managers and drive improvement with new ideas processes to accelerate Digital Consumer's transformation to an agile organisation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage the backlogs and facilitates the sequencing of work across the ART (Agile Release Train) to efficiently manage the overall development and the fixed resource utilisation. 
  • Contribute towards programme level coordination, such as creating timelines, milestones, and cadence of increments and releases and contributes to the development of reports and analyses that document programme activity. 
  • Facilitate quarterly alignment and planning readiness by driving cross-team synthesis of the vision, roadmap, and backlogs, and encourage collaboration across teams to help ensure strategy and execution alignment. 
  • Facilitate the ART communication and coordination with stakeholders and customers during feature definition and delivery across multiple application transformation initiatives. 
  • Execute coaching and provision of expertise to teams on how to break down work backlogs effectively, i.e. slicing for value, feature and capability estimation and the roll-up to Epics.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and applying process enhancements, driving innovation, and encouraging team collaboration to enhance performance and achieve outstanding results.

Experience you'll have

  • Be Agile: Solid understanding of lean Agile delivery practices with awareness of SAFe framework) with ability to lead collaborative agile ways of working and effectively manage changing priorities 
  • Problem Solving: Must be able lead and take ownership of proactively solving technical delivery problems across squads that are multiplatform wide, impacting multiple services or cross Tribes/Business areas 
  • Transformation: Be able to manage long term changes and adapting the Tribe/Release Train in line with business needs of frequent customer centric, high quality and low cost product delivery 
  • JIRA: A great understanding of JIRA, reporting, dashboards etc and be able to drive improvement with best practices 

Preferred: 

  • Technical Delivery: Agile Practitioner inc large scale agile delivery leadership, led Program Increment (big room) planning events aka QPP 
  • Demonstrable experience of utilising Lean Six-Sigma methods to drive continuous improvements 
  • Experience of applying agile Roadmap prioritisation processes at program and portfolio level
