Job Description

Why this job matters 

The Cyber Security Governance & Assurance Professional supports the analysis, assessment, and deployment of security governance and assurance measures to remove cyber risk.


What you'll be doing 

• Provide support to the communication of relevant IT security procedure and/or process as relevant.
• To support delivery of aspects of the security framework applicable to the contract.
• Run meetings and the associated governance, e.g. setting agendas, issuing clear minutes and actions. 
• Undertake obligations management, understanding the need of evidence 
• Contribute to the delivery of the target improvement, productivity gains and cost efficiencies.
• Advises BT, on systems issues relating to risk compliance, incident management affecting BT.
• Managing and updating of BT Security risk to ensure efficient management of those relating to the contract.

 

The skills you will need 

• Achieve Security Clearance as defined in the contract.
• Be able to understand Contract and identify obligations relevant to the role. 
• Maintains an awareness of the evolving security and threat landscape. 
• Achieve and maintain relevant security accreditations (CISMP, M.Inst.ISP, etc.).
• Understand the application of frameworks ISO27001, Security Policy Framework. 

 

Experience needed

Preferred: 

  • Have a keen interest in security security management (0-5 years)
  • Have an understanding of security frameworks or risk management principles. (eg ISO27001, CE+)
