This role will provide technical consultation and architecture to business, CTIO and IT teams to ensure development of efficient application systems utilizing established standards, procedures and methodologies. Delivering solutions that meet customer’s requirements, including necessary technical design consultations and driving business performance, efficiency and continuous improvement within the team. We are seeking an experienced Spatial Data Analytics Technical Architect with expertise in Spatial data analysis, Data models, telecom domain expertise, AWS, and general cloud technologies, and who can build a common data model from multiple apps data with GIS data. The ideal candidate will be able to identify use cases that can leverage this common data model and provide insights that can help businesses make informed decisions. They should also possess strong skills in cloud computing technologies, particularly AWS & GCP, and be able to design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet client requirements.

What you’ll be doing

• Responsible for designing the technical architecture of new technology systems, overseeing the implementation of programs, and liaising with the software development team.
• Responsible for creating an implementation technical roadmap across the FND and Chief Engineer Office domain.
• Build a common data model by integrating data from multiple applications.
• Oracle DB Architecture understanding and driving DB related problem towards solution by co-ordinating with 2L/3LDBA. 
• Insuring production DB stability, regular housekeeping and maintenance activity.
• Should be driving Always On resilience for applications.
• Should be able to maintain DevOps practises.
• Design and develop data models that help in the efficient storage, processing, and analysis of large datasets.
• Identify use cases that leverage the common data model and provide insights that can help businesses make informed decisions.
• Apply telecom domain expertise to understand and solve business problems for clients/customers.
• Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS, GCP and other cloud technologies.
• Analyse and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance.
• Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide recommendations for cloud-based solutions.
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs.
• Keep up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Spatial data analytics skills, Data models, telecom domain expertise, AWS, GCP and general cloud technologies.
• Possessing extensive industry knowledge and influencing industry or vendor strategy. 
• Setting the strategic direction by identifying strategic software technology and process changes that deliver long-term benefits, and drive activity to implement change across the unit.
• Providing technical thought leadership and delivering a significant impact to the business (revenue or cost) by addressing complex business problems that are business-wide and require a breadth of technology expertise.
• Contributing to coaching and mentoring Software Engineering talent within the unit to create world class capability.

Skills Required

• Identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities to enhance the various teams’ approach towards technology selection and implementation in third party job allocation
• Accountable for all application design, technical solution architecture, development, transformation and modernization for third party job allocation
• Reduce cost of ownership using contemporary technologies and solutions in Product Domain. 
• Use industry wide expertise and skills in a number of technological areas and domains (Java and Open Source Stacks) , and actively share with others in teams, projects and professions to create a culture of engineering excellence in the FND domain Ways of Working.      
• Work with team members including Product Owners and business stakeholders, to overcome adoption challenges and ensure success; for example, to keep focus on business KPIs.

Following MANDATORY prior experience is preferred where candidate has –

• Hands-on experience in Digital transformations including migration to cloud-native architectures 
• Hands-on experience in owning, architecting, designing, and implementing Microservices in full-stack journeys with micro frontends.
• Ability to identify use cases that leverage common data models and provide insights that can help businesses make informed decisions.
• Experience in AWS and general cloud technologies
• Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Deep expertise of software design patterns and distributed systems architecture
• Deep expertise in architecting and implementing containerised solutions.
• Self-learner & keeps oneself abreast of the business, technology & IT practice changes 
• Interest in running POCs for new technologies, analysing considerations, establishing standards, and propagating to wider teams
