We are seeking a skilled and proactive professional to join our team, responsible for both application development and cloud infrastructure management within the ITAM/TIMS ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and AWS administration, with a focus on delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

What you’ll be doing

•    Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications supporting the ITAM/TIMS ecosystem.
•    Serve as the AWS Administrator and Developer, overseeing cloud infrastructure, services, and deployment pipelines.
•    Lead the ARCAM AWS upgrade initiative for GRC platform applications.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of services.
•    Implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated monitoring solutions.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and cloud environments to ensure system reliability and performance.

Skills Required

•    Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate).
•    Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and IAM.
•    Experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
•    Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or ECS.
•    Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns.
•    Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus).
•    Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and application development.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
•    Prior experience in GRC platforms or IT Asset Management systems is a plus.
