Delivering quality digital features and solutions for our customers is at the heart of everything we do.  As a Software Engineering Professional you will be a single point of contact responsible for delivering the changes and fixing issues raised by customers across BT and Corporate Units. The purpose of the role is to interact with stakeholders on a regular basis, to map and understand their requirements keeping the outcome for the business in mind. All delivered in sprints!

What you’ll be doing

•    Configure, customize, and implement solutions across ITSM, CSM, CMDB, and integration modules with core expertise in 
•    Take ownership of assigned projects and tasks, ensuring timely and high quality delivery.
•    Apply ServiceNow best practices in scripting, configuration, and solution design to build scalable and maintainable implementations.
•    Develop and maintain a healthy CMDB aligned with CSDM standards, ensuring accurate service mapping and data integrity.
•    Build and support integrations with telecom OSS/BSS, CRM, ERP, monitoring tools, and other enterprise systems using IntegrationHub, APIs, and spokes.
•    Write and maintain scripts (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer) to extend platform functionality.
•    Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective ServiceNow solutions.
•    Stay updated on AI, automation, and innovation trends, and explore ways to incorporate them into ServiceNow solutions.
•    Document solutions, share knowledge, and support team members when needed.
•    Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements
•    Code reviews and quality control checks should be undertaken as part of every project to guarantee maximum efficiency and productivity.
•    Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in ServiceNow ensures your success.

The skills you’ll need

•    6–8 years of experience working with ServiceNow primarily in ITSM.
•    Good Exposure to CSM, CMDB, and integrations, Gen AI and Now Assist.
•    Strong hands on scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub).
•    Proven experience in delivering multiple successful implementations.
•    Deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices, CSDM framework, and CMDB design.
•    Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive outcomes.
•    Strong problem solving skills and ability to work across diverse modules.
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
•    System Integration (SOAP, Restful)
•    React, Javascript, NODE.js, Python
•    Databases like MySQL, Postgress, etc
•    Basic understanding of cloud technologies
