As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative solutions that align with business needs and objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, engineering managers and developers, to ensure robust architecture and successful implementation of the products and applications. What you’ll be doing – your accountabilities

1.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions 

2. Lead the design and architecture of solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and adherence to industry best practices.

3. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers and administrators, guiding them in solution development, configuration, and customization.

4. Conduct code reviews and ensure quality control measures are in place to maintain high standards of development.

5. Stay up to date with the latest technology landscape and industry trends, and apply them to enhance existing solutions and propose new innovative solutions.

6. Participate in solution demonstrations and workshops with clients to showcase the benefits and capabilities of the platforms.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, network, and security

8. Drive the adoption of best practices and standards across the organization, providing guidance on governance, configuration management, 
and release management processes.

9. Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication to stakeholders.

10. Act as a subject matter expert for product development, keeping abreast of the latest developments, certifications, and training opportunities to continuously improve your knowledge and skills.

The skills you’ll need to succeed

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

2. Extensive experience (8+ years) working with the Open Source technologies, including architecture design and implementation. 

3. Strong expertise in building and running micro-services event driven systems at scale 

4. Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring a team of developers and administrators. 

5. In-depth understanding of Databases (SQL, noSQL) , Message Broker, Data Analytics concepts

6. Strong knowledge of intelligent operations and related toolsets.

 7. Experience with low-code/no-code platforms, automation and leveraging GenAI in various SDLC phases 

8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions. 

9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 

Experience you would be expected to have

•    Experience with Java/J2EE stack - 8+ years
•    Overall experience – 14+ Years
•    Experience and knowledge of Telecom– Optional
•    Able to confidently deal with ambiguity of requirements, especially in complex/ critical areas – Mandatory.
•    Experience and knowledge of the Agile methodologies
