The Scrum Master Professional supports peers and stakeholders through Scrum processes, ensuring that Scrum and related practices are understood and enacted across teams and are supported across the group.

What you’ll be doing

1. Supports Scrum/Agile iterative development processes to lead on-time delivery of product backlog user stories.
2. Participates in daily Scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings as a key part of the Agile team.
3. Supports the Scrum process across digital and project teams ensuring that goals, scope, and product domains are understood by everyone on the team. 
4. Supports collaboration with Scrum masters to improve the application of Agile practices and cross-collaboration for delivery execution.
5. Monitors project resources and suggest corrective measures to ensure project success.
6. Supports the identification of resource gaps and inform the programme and project manager to support and enable resource managers for outsourced services as needed.
7. Supports the identification of impediments, risks or blockers on timely basis with the team. Supports the monitoring of the issue to closure using either Agile Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) or collaboration tools.
8. Supports communication between technology and BT Group fostering open dialog with team members.
9. Supports in the continuous evaluation and updating of the backlog with new or modified user stories that are decomposed, estimated, prioritised, and assigned to future iterations.
10. Supports in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within the area of Scrum.
