About the role

We’re in the process of creating a digital playbook. This manual will provide our consumer teams both within digital and beyond with the tools and techniques to apply user-centred design and agile methodology to their projects, products and services.
We’re looking for a product designer to work alongside a content designer and content editor on this exciting project, and help bring our vision to life.
Working with existing brand guidelines and components, you’ll help determine how we present our tools, methods and techniques in a way that meets the needs of our users but also helps achieve our business goals.
Alongside our content designer, you’ll define the page layouts, formats and interactions that bring to life our ‘plays’ in an engaging but frictionless way.
You’ll lead the visual design work for this new site, and work with a content editor and developers to ensure the content management system (AEM) is configured to meet the specified design.
We’re looking for someone skilled in crafting interactions into a simple and delightful user interfaces, who’s happy working collaboratively and giving and receiving feedback.

Your main job responsibilities:

•    Creating simple and useful designs to showcase our methods and plays using existing brand components
•    Work closely with stakeholders and team members to ensure our content is delivered to the project timelines
•    Take part in user research and be able to work with multidisciplinary, agile teams to contribute to the overall user experience
•    Work closely with developers and content managers to ensure AEM is configured to specified designs
•    Ensure subject matter experts are happy with how their content is presented
•    Ability to create Accessible Design by following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)

A spectrum of technical expertise across the following skills (with a specialism in some areas)

•Interaction Design & Prototyping - defining the order and experience of the users ac<vi<es within the digital touch-points
•Visual Design & Finesse - creating interactions into a simple and delightful user interface
•Information Architecture - ensuring content is findable and usable
•User Journey Mapping - designing end to end journeys with needs and data at their heart 
•User Research & Testing - discovering issues and needs regular qualitative learning 
• Data Analysis, MVT & A/B Testing - analysing behaviours and appetites using regular quantitative learning
•Micro Copy & Micro Interaction Design - ensuring each moment is intentionally created
