Why this job matters
The Project Co-ordinator will support the delivery of products to our customers ensuring orders, dependencies and change requests are managed to meet the customers’ delivery dates.
The role holder will be responsible for:
1.Coordinating commercial/technology-based projects, typically within service or operations function, to agreed performance targets, budgets and timescales.
2.Supplies operational support to the full span of projects/programmes using project management techniques and a degree of technical/commercial understanding.
3.Often associated with matrix management.
What you’ll be doing
•Negotiates and defines a detailed step plan for delivery (introduction, migration, rearrangement, cessation) and monitor all stages of the project checking then initiating action as appropriate.
•Responsibilities include risk monitoring and management.
•May provide pre-sales support for major bids and prospects.
•May have responsibility for managing and coordinating the launch of all new services in EMS, and defining customer requirements. (Ensure account team and developer have same understanding).
•Ultimate decision over solution design.
•Customer point of contact during implementation phase.
•Ability to manage major contracts/programmes stakeholders who are at senior level.
Specific Role Details:
Hands on experience on Managed Service Tools and applications and change management and good understanding on PSTN and ADSL Delivery.
•Requires good customer service, analytical and coordination skills to deal with various teams and situations.
•Acts as a facilitator for all internal and external stakeholder queries during project tenure.
Actively participate at any Continuous Improvement drives and promote improvement plans to be introduced in the team.
•Ensuring training plan, system access BCP plan for in-scope activity
•Engagement with PM/ Order managers & Delivery Managers
•Manage risks, issues & dependencies
•Provide periodic progress updates to the Manager, ensuring any issues impacting delivery are escalated in a timely manner.
•Senior stakeholders - Senior Supplier Leadership team to brief on customer delivery and delivery progress especially in relation to expedited deliveries
•Control and co-ordination of multiple suppliers on a customer delivery
•Escalation management and speaking to a account/sales/SRM for complex delivery - providing complaint and error RCA - owning actions which result.
