• Project Prioritisation: Determining which projects take precedence based on deadlines, importance, and organisational goals.
• Task Allocation: liaising with Works Control in order allocation to ensure we allocate work to drive project/programme efficiency whilst maintaining loading goals.
• Problem-Solving: Resolving conflicts, overcoming obstacles, and adapting plans when unforeseen challenges arise.
• Risk Management: Identifying potential risks to project timelines or deliverables and making decisions to mitigate them.
Efficiency Management Decisions
• Workflow Enhancements: Choosing the best strategies to improve processes and eliminate inefficiencies.
• Technology Adoption: Deciding on tools and systems that can streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Metrics Analysis: Evaluating performance data and deciding on actionable steps for improvement.
• Cost Optimisation: Balancing resource allocation and expenses while ensuring quality and efficiency.
Why this job matters
As a valued member of the Global Network Build team we are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator and Efficiency Manager. This dual-role position is responsible for overseeing project coordination tasks, working closely with my Work Control team while driving operational efficiency across our Bandwidth & IP & Data Platforms. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for optimising workflows.
What you’ll be doing – your accountabilities
Project Coordination:
• Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of projects.
• Act as the central point of communication between stakeholders, team members, and management.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate Build Resource to ensure project teams have the necessary tools and support.
Efficiency Management:
• Analyse current workflows and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with teams to streamline processes and optimise resource utilisation.
• Track and report on efficiency metrics, providing actionable insights to leadership.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
