The purpose of the Software Engineering Specialist role is to support our digital transformation strategy by designing and developing robust software solutions. This role requires a hands-on Java developer with strong architectural decision-making capabilities and experience in enterprise-grade systems. Familiarity with jBPM and network infrastructure is a strong advantage.
What you’ll be doing
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications.
- Make architectural decisions to ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Integrate business process management solutions using jBPM.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Leverage knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure to optimize application performance and security.
Skills Required
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in Java and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
- Proven experience in software architecture and system design.
- Experience with jBPM or similar BPM tools.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice-to-Have:
- Knowledge of network protocols, security, and infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
