Why this role matters:
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager (Active Intelligence) who has background in data analytics and technology. You will work closely with the Product Managers and development Scrum teams to deliver behavioural Insight capability for our Active Intelligence product set. The role is to be the outward facing detailed driven individual as part of the product management function within Active Intelligence.
You are passionate about using data to drive actions and are able to present your analysis to technical and non-technical audiences. You will have a strong track record of driving change in global organisations. You will be confident working in a fast-paced environment and able to overcome challenges quickly. You will be delivery focused with excellent stakeholder management skills and work effectively with the business, product and technology teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Contribute to the delivery of the product development roadmap
- Identify products, services and partnerships that maximise the customer opportunity presented by our data
- Manage prioritisation of the product backlog within scrum teams
- Have a creative mindset to look beyond the “Now” and into the Next and future
- Be the person to lead product discovery through to execution, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure business-wide alignment
- Keeping abreast of industry trend and identifying growth opportunities for Active Intelligence
- Have an excellent understand of product delivery methodologies, with a particular focus on agile
- Have a good understanding of agile estimation methods and reporting, being able to translate business requirement and definitions
- Have an understanding of the various dimensions of our business – marketing, sales, services, legal, privacy, etc
- Be an expert on how our products work so You can effectively demo to a prospective customer.
- You have a strong understanding of product risks and how to address them - before engineers are asked to build
- Once a product or new capability is live and in production, you utilise optimisation techniques to improve and refine the product
- working with BT teams and external party partners
- You’re responsible for in-life management and reporting of performance against commercial, customer and market KPI’s
- You manage various stakeholders across the company and establish mutual respect and mutual trust with each stakeholder

- Proven experience of working in a large-scale Digital, Agile environment.
- Delivering to challenging timescales in a technical environment
- Ability to deal with conflicting demands across propositions in different stages of the delivery lifecycle
- Working within multi-discipline squads with both onshore / offshore members whilst maintaining a strong working relationship
- Ability to understand complex business, IT design and development requirements taking into consideration their functional and non-functional needs
- Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to elicit requirements & acceptance criteria to ensure the business objectives and product vision is being delivered.
- Understand complex issues, identify root causes, analyse options, develop recommendations and deliver solutions which result in business growth
- Develop on initial requirements, break down business problems into epics, features and user stories and manage through change control
- Produce high quality process flows
- Facilitate and manage workshops and meetings with business and technology
Desirable skills & experience
- Experience of data insights and machine learning
- Possess an understanding of visualisation tools
