This role supports the delivery of mobile solutions for our customers. This role will look at the feasibility of sites for customer mobile solutions. It will proactively assess assets and sites to be able to make the best recommendations to our customers on appropriate locations to maximise service and fully meet the customer requirements. The key purpose of the role is to make sure every customer gets the best possible data centre that meets the customer requirements service from the initial request for help through until the issue is resolved. Where problems occur, taking ownership to quickly fix them whilst keeping our customer fully up to date with progress.
The role holder is accountable for all survey & Design activities on small cells delivery and ensuring our contractors undertake survey, structural surveys, design drawings & planning activities. You will have excellent project management skills and a good technical & practical background to understand the design and the acquisition process of the product. What you'll be doing
• The Small Cells Acquisition, Survey & Design Professional will be responsible for delivering owned acquisition activities across a defined group of sites to achieve stakeholder targets through effective management of the Acquisition activities ‘in-house’ and with third party contractors.
• You will be aware of and manage dependencies across a defined group of sites through Surveys, Structural surveys, Technical drawings, town planning, tracking & reporting to ensure acquisition targets are achieved.
• The role will also entail maintaining an accurate acquisition delivery status on a defined group of sites by ensuring that site level forecasts are up to date & in accordance with agreed forecasting standards through the tracking of 3rd party supplier deliverables.
• key aspects of this role will include stakeholder & relationship management, developing effective working relationships with third party contractors, local Councils and legal representatives.

Skills and Experience
Skills required
• A full understanding of reviewing and approving survey reports is required. Specifically checking the suitability for the deployment of mobile telecoms equipment. Good technical understanding of civil engineering street works infrastructure, traffic and pedestrian management. A basic understanding of electrical apparatus is also required. All of these activities presented within the survey document are to prevent any unforeseen and serious cost implications in the future.
• Good general understanding of reviewing structural survey reports on lampposts and CCTV columns and the ability to appraise general arrangement and detailed design drawings prepared by your small works contractor.
• Stakeholder Management: Managing expectations and the level of stakeholder engagement. Ability to manage complex relationships within, and externally to, the small cells platform. Individual to be customer focussed, with particular attention to ensure that we understand the customer requirements correctly.
• Site & Project management: Able to manage large volumes of work across different MNO’s and the ability to prioritise workload. Identifying & progressing blockers/issues to resolution.
• Individual to demonstrate logical & creative thinking to reach a solution and Able to express ideas, explanations or opinions in a way that is appropriate to the situation, and understandable to audience.
• Presentation and engagement skills for an appropriate audience, taking complex data and presenting this simply and effectively. Good organisational skills, highly motivated with the ability to prioritise, manage and collaborate with other sales and delivery teams to ensure that customer issues are successfully executed and brought to closure
Experience you will need
• Technical ability to understand complex designs & methodology – Mandatory
• You will have extensive experience of delivering large volumes of sites against agreed targets and considerable experience of managing landlord and client relationships. Mandatory
• Further experience of telecom street-furniture rollouts would be preferred but not essential.
• Candidates will have previous Mobile Telecoms Acquisition experience gained from working in a mobile network environment. mandatory
