We're looking for a Model Implementation Professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering and troubleshooting cutting-edge network solutions, ensuring high-quality physical and logical builds and seamless implementation across all of BT’s IP platforms.

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver model implementation demand on time and to standard, ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Own and resolve network configuration build issues, maintaining best practice and technical excellence.
  • Build strong relationships across teams to drive successful outcomes.
  • Support Gemini Evolution’s strategic goals through technical innovation and continuous improvement.

Your core responsibilities

  • Apply deep technical knowledge across platforms (Converged Core, Ethernet, Mobile, Global Reach, Voice, Connectivity).
  • Manage and resolve support request SLA breaches, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Support the rollout of enhanced network technologies aligned with customer needs and strategic direction.
  • Document and transfer knowledge to land new solutions effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with TSA and H&S policies, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Engage with stakeholders throughout the model implementation lifecycle.
  • Collaborate across teams, championing best practices and regulatory standards.

What you'll bring

Mandatory

  • IP Network Expertise: Understanding of IP network engineering, infrastructure, technologies, and protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, NG-WDM).
  • Network Configuration: Ability to configure network hardware and software components according to organisational guidelines and technical requirements to ensure a stable and reliable network.
  • Troubleshooting: Proven experience resolving both physical and logical issues on an IP network.
  • Self-Management: Proven track record of managing own workstack and delivering demand to customer requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and resolve conflicts constructively.
  • Coaching & Growth Mindset: Recognised for mentoring others and committed to continuous learning and development.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Dedicated to supporting customers before and after service delivery to ensure a positive experience.

 

Nice to Have

 

  • Certified technical knowledge of IP networks and infrastructure.
  • Product and service knowledge – You demonstrate a technical understanding of the infrastructure, products and services utilised within the Gemini Environment.
  • Network Implementation - Carries out the implementation of network infrastructure which may involve developing the business plan for expansion or modification of the network.
