Why this job matters 

The role of Security Delivery Lead is wide ranging and individuals need to prioritise across the four key components summarised below based on individual customer circumstance (life-cycle).

Relationship
• Work across all security functions to orchestrate and lead our customer contact strategy.
• Build strong relationships with CISO & team or equivalent with the aim of becoming a trusted security advisor.
Delivery
• Maintain oversight of delivery activities including in-life contract change requests.
• Ensure BT delivers against all contractual Security obligations.
Service
• Maintain oversight of Security in-life delivery performance against compliance, obligations and risks.
• Translate the output of any PIRs into improvement plans.
Commercials
• Maintain oversight of all contract commercials including Revenue, CCRs and BRF to maximise profitability.
• Contribute to demand generation as outcome of trusted advisor status.


What you'll be doing 

Wide ranging role which requires individuals to operate across the following key disciplines throughout the bid and/or contract lifecycle:
Relationship
• Acts as a single point of contact regarding delivery for internal and external customers.
• Works across all security functions to orchestrate and lead our customer contact strategy.
Delivery
• Engages from Mobilisation to In-Life.
• Leads and line manages a team of highly experienced security professionals.
• Defines the  approach required to deliver medium/high complex solutions which will deliver positive business impact.
Service
• Ensures that in-life Service/operations teams are performing in line with customer and Market Unit expectations and obligations.
• Manages Security Service Levels against agreed criteria, intervening/remediating as required.
Commercials & Growth
• Manages internal commercials
• Maintains oversight of all contract commercials including Revenue, CCRs and BRF to maximise profitability

 

Skills required for the job 

• Security Clearance as defined in the contract:  SC, DV or NPPV3 (plus Met Police extension)
• Desirable Professional Accreditations:   
o    CISSP, ISO/IEC 27XXX, ISACA (CISM, CISA CRISC) or equivalent.
• Customer Engagement: proven track record of managing internal and external stakeholder relationships up to executive level. Works with internal teams and vendors to manage customer expectations and relationships throughout delivery.
• Commercial & Operational Risk Assessment: Conduct commercial/ operational risk assessments and manage identified risks through appropriate mitigation. Manages complex expectations and can negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes and resolve conflict. 


Experience you would be expected to have 

Have a proven track record in security management (3-5 years)

Have demonstrable experience implementing and managaing ISO Certifications (eg 27001)
