Key Purpose of the Role:

Looking for an AWS Cloud Developer Professional who has a proven proficiency in developing serverless solutions using AWS Cloud Components. The developer is expected to take ownership of tasks assigned and drive the development of the task from requirement analyses, working with multiple stakeholders, development, debugging, monitoring to roll out.

Successful candidates need to possess deep hands-on technical expertise in building serverless solution using AWS components, Typescript/ NodeJS, shell and python scripts etc. The candidate also needs to possess general CI/ CD awareness.

What you’ll be doing

  • To work closely with Leads, Architect and Solution Designers, Product Owners, to gather requirements, analysis, development and Unit test solution/ code for BT’s serverless IOT application solutions.

  • Monitoring the application bug count and working on resolution of bug.

  • Should be knowing the ways of working in an Agile team.

  • Ability to work independently on JIRA tasks assigned, with minimum supervision.

  • To provide technical assistance to the testing activities and take responsibility for assisting team for any defects that may arise during these activities.

  • Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality.

  • Work as a team player to ensure the committed deadline is met with quality

  • Open to evaluate latest technologies and willingness to innovate.

The skills you"ll need

Must have skills:
API Gateway and AWS Lambda
Dynamo DB
CloudWatch
JavaScript/ Typescript
Async operations with Promise
Understanding Agile methodology 

Good to have skills:
Experience in one or more of the following:
SNS and SQS
Step Functions
AWS IOT
Familiarity with any Analytical Dashboard solution like Splunk or Dynatrace
Familiarity with GIT, JIRA.
CI/ CD pipelines
