Skills and Experience
To be successful in the role of Digital Engineering Specialist at BT Business Digital, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
• You should have a proven track record leading the technical teams, ideally with exposure to digital customer service platforms.
• We value hands-on experience in coding and implementing digital solutions.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team effectively.
• Excellent knowledge of leveraging TypeScript, ReactJS, NodeJS technology to deliver end to end web applications.
• Excellent knowledge of leveraging at least one major cloud provider, preferably AWS, to deliver cloud-native applications is highly desired. Experience with other cloud platforms is also valuable.
• Familiarity with Dynatrace or other monitoring and observability tools.
• Familiarity with BFF (Backend for Frontend) and Micro-Service Architecture.
• Familiarity with building reusable features as capability
• Familiarity with CI-CD Pipelines, Agile Methodologies and Jira as a project management tool
• Excellent people management skills, including coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Guides partnerships with business and operational stakeholders to conduct business and technical discovery.
• While not mandatory, knowledge of the telco domain is a bonus as it will help you better understand our industry-specific challenges and requirements.
