Summary Description for the Role
The role holder will be part of the SAP FICO (R2R) engineering team within BT Digital, and will be responsible for designing and building solutions in SAP S/4HANA system.
Key responsibilities are:
• Configuration and design in SAP S/4HANA.
• Ability to take ownership of solutions, from design stage to deployment.
• Support testing – CIT/E2E/UAT
• Analyse code and review designs
• Experience on cloud platforms a plus
• Work with geographically diverse development teams
• Stakeholder management
• Work in Agile and Waterfall delivery models
• Conduct Show & Tell sessions with business users, propose solutions which provide business value to users.
Skills and Experience
• Relevant professional experience, relating to both business process and technical aspects of the role.
• Candidate should have a strong background in SAP Project Systems (PS), Investment Management (IM) and Asset Accounting (AA) modules.
• An experience in SAP Controlling (CO) module will be an advantage.
• Experience with data conversions, data migrations and interface implementation is expected.
• Hands on experience with Application Interface Framework (AIF) is expected.
• Experience with other Financial Accounting (FI) modules is an advantage.
• Exposure to SAP Central Finance (CFIN) will be appreciated.
• Experience in Agile development practices preferred.
• Strong communication skills, and ability to influence stakeholders
