Why this job matters

The Site Reliability Engineering Associate 3 assists with a range of routine activities in the service performance, reliability and availability that internal and external customers expect.

What you’ll be doing

1. Assists with routine activities in the implementation of new software development life cycle automation tools, frameworks, and code pipelines (continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines), applies best practices that are delivered from site reliability engineering leadership with a focus on the re-use of application code, demonstrates consistent software delivery practices and produces continuous integration/continuous delivery platform solutions using Amazon Web Services cloud, infrastructure as code (IaC), GitOps, and container technologies
2. Assists in the delivery of technology development and solutions that provide business value and meet customer requirements, encouraging team's use of innovative approaches and tools to solve problems
3. Assists with the implementation of monitoring tooling used to optimise systems for uptime, performance, and reliability, and robust monitoring and alerting systems
4. Writes routine tests that investigate how infrastructure handles failure and scaling
5. Assists in executing work in scaling systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolves systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity
6. Assists the delivery of infrastructure as code software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of services
7. Assists with the implementation of continuous integration/continuous delivery systems
8. Works with sales and application management support in capacity and performance planning
