Our corporate units enable our customer facing units to deliver our strategy and plans for growth. We shape and steer the direction of the business by managing our people, finances, shared services and buildings. We also oversee our legal, regulatory and compliance obligations too. 
Corporate Units play an integral role in setting and delivering our strategy and partnering with our business units in their plans for growth. We shape and steer the direction of the business by managing our people, finances, suppliers, shared services and buildings. And if that’s not enough, we also oversee our legal, regulatory and compliance obligations too.  A career in the Corporate Units is close to the strategic action and never dull.  We exist as four centralised teams – Finance, Strategy and Business Services, Human Resources, Legal, Company Secretary and Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Affairs.

What I’ll be doing – your accountabilities


The Connectivity Procurement Specialist  is responsible for providing inputs and executing the Connectivity Procurement Category Strategy.  The role is focussed on Connectivity suppliers providing Access, Core, Voice and Satellite services to BT and its customers.  This role develops and executes procurement frameworks, policies and procedures. This role collaborates with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure procurement competency and deliver value to the BT and its customers.



Skills required for the job


3-5 years experience within a Telco / Interconnect /Carrier  Procurement function, with strong commercial Procurement skills, Bid Management experience and the ability to deliver value and results for BT. 
Ability to manage complex and commercial requirements between BT and Connectivity Suppliers, deliver projects and results on time and in full, Demonstrates effective continuous improvement skills 
Language skills ;
English  - a must – fluent 
Dutch - an advantage
