This role will play a crucial part in leading BT's annual pay review and bonus processes and delivering BAU activity in relation to compensation.
Your Reward knowledge and HR expertise will be instrumental in achieving success, and flexibility in your approach is essential.

What you’ll be doing
•Lead the operational delivery of all compensation cycles, including annual pay reviews, bonus and LTI processes for both the UK and globally. Ensure that the processes operate effectively and efficiently, supporting business performance and colleague experience.
•Provide leadership and guidance to a team of 5 Reward Analysts based in the UK and India, supporting their development and progression.
•Drive digital innovation in compensation processes, using automation and analytics to improve efficiency, accuracy and colleague experience.
•Work closely with the Digital team to ensure that business requirements are documented, built, tested and delivered into the compensation module.
•Lead the development of insight capability through contact data reporting to help inform key stakeholders and the Total Reward Centre of Excellence.
•Analyse and identify the root cause of colleague queries, developing strategies to reduce query volumes to improve colleague experience.
•Work collaboratively across the People & Culture team and wider business to inform, engage and upskill People & Culture partners and colleagues about compensation processes.
•Support internal and external audits and compensation related controls.
The skills you'll need to succeed
•Strong technical knowledge of compensation principles, pay structures and reward governance.
•Proven ability to manage complex processes, balance multiple deadlines, and drive continuous improvement.
•Advanced analytical ability with the capability to analyse trends and propose data-driven solutions.
•Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to varied audiences.
•Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
•Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across People and Culture and with Business Leaders.
•Experience of leading the delivery and implementation of core Reward processes and practices across the full colleague lifecycle.
•Experience of HRIS reward modules (SAP, Workday, Oracle or similar)
•Experience of influencing senior stakeholders and operating in a matrix environment.
