The Finance Analyst plays a critical role in supporting our public sector contracts business, owning end-to-end finances across central government and wider public sector accounts. You'll deliver accurate reporting and forecasting, supporting contract governance, and partnering with contract leads to drive informed commercial decisions and improve financial performance. What you’ll be doing

  • Own the end-to-end finances across a selection of public sector contracts, including central government accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate monthly reporting, forecasts and analysis for your contracts.
  • Partner with contract leads and wider functions to provide insight, challenge assumptions and support decision making.
  • Present financial performance in month-end reviews and contract governance forums, clearly explaining variances and drivers.
  • Maintain strong financial controls, ensuring data integrity and timely completion of all routine finance activities.

Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Part-qualified (or actively studying towards) a recognised accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
  • Around 2–3 years’ experience in a finance analyst or similar finance role.Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting, forecasting and managing end-to-end finances across contracts or business areas.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships and manage stakeholders.
