Why this job matters
This is a unique opportunity to provide high-level, autonomous executive assistant support to two senior leaders at BT. The role requires a deep understanding of both the leaders' priorities and the strategic direction of the business unit to effectively manage their offices, optimise time, and improve workflow and productivity. Leveraging digital tools and Office365 applications will be essential to consistently deliver results.
The EA will proactively seek opportunities to enhance services and processes, drawing on their experience, data insights, and sound judgment to drive improvements. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with expert-level proficiency in Office365 and digital applications.
Emotional intelligence will be key in building strong internal and external relationships, enabling effective influence and collaboration to support better outcomes and decision-making.
What you’ll be doing
•Strategically manage and coordinate diaries, meetings, and travel, using sound judgement and initiative
•Prepare high-quality meeting materials and presentations, supporting with data, agendas, and briefing packs
•Manage email workflows, track actions, and handle correspondence with professionalism
•Build strong internal and external relationships, acting as a trusted liaison and role model across the EA/PA community
•Collaborate with stakeholders to shape engagement, events, and communications plans
•Champion the use of digital tools and technology, enhancing productivity and collaboration
•Ensure compliance with processes, policies, and ethical standards
•Support with special projects, reporting, onboarding, and continuous process improvement
The skills you'll need to succeed
•Significant experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant.
•Proven ability to manage complex diaries and travel itineraries.
•Skilled at multi-tasking and delivering consistently high-quality work.
•Trusted to work with integrity and maintain strict confidentiality.
