About the role
The Customer Solutions Design Professional assist the creation of end-to-end technical designs and solutions which meet customer needs.
What you’ll be doing
Capture customer requirements, develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security threaths and vulnerabilities.
Prepare Documents like, HLD/LLDs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) etc.
Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements
Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements.
Evaluate new technologies and processes that enhance security capabilities.
Work with a variety of external customers internally and externally.
Engage with multiple teams across various verticals like PM,SRMs, operations etc to ensure that BT security requirements are considered when delivering/developing new services.
Essential Skills / Experience
Technical Skills:
NGFW : Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, CheckPoint, CISCO etc.
Proxy: Zscalaer, Blue Coat
VPN: SSL, IKE v1 & v2
Microsegmentation : Illumio
Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols like, Adavance persistent threats, Cloud Security (AWS, Azure), Sandboxing, VA/PT, PKI etc.
Experience in Illumio architecture, implementation, labels, and VEN with strong knowledge of application and nano-segmentation best practices
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively
Experience you would be expected to have
Core experience in Netwrok and Information Security.
Hands on experience in security systems, including NGFW, IPS/IDS, Proxy, AAA, Microsegmentation (Illumio) etc.
Experience of managing design projects independently.
