About the role

This is a unique hybrid Account Manager role combining strategic account growth with new business acquisition. You’ll manage a small portfolio of high-value wholesale customers while also driving the acquisition of new strategic partners. The role offers the best of both worlds - developing deep, long-term customer relationships while leading targeted new logo growth. You’ll operate in a high-impact, low-volume environment where success is driven by quality, strategy, and influence rather than volume sales.

What you’ll be doing

- Manage and grow a portfolio of 5–10 strategic wholesale accounts, focusing on upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Identify and win new logo business, onboarding ~4 key strategic partners annually
- Develop and execute targeted account and acquisition strategies aligned to commercial objectives
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across partner organisations
- Lead complex commercial discussions and negotiations to close high-value deals
- Collaborate internally to shape solutions leveraging a broad technology portfolio
- Maintain a proactive, insight-led approach to market opportunities and partner growth

Essential Skills / Experience

- Experience in account management and new business acquisition
- Background in a wholesale / indirect market within the telecommunications space
- Experience onboarding and growing large, complex partner accounts
- Track record of delivering against revenue growth and acquisition targets
- Ability to manage a small number of high-value, strategic relationships
- Capable commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable operating in a field-based, client-facing role

Desirable Skills / Experience

- Understanding of partner ecosystems and indirect sales models
- Exposure to complex solution selling across a broad portfolio
- Experience working on strategic growth plans and account development frameworks
