Why this job matters
Our team is responsible for data quality across the Global Services organisation. We own all aspects of DQ and ultimate responsibility for the completeness and accuracy of all 3rd party access inventory across Global Services along with validation of supplier invoice for payments and timely payment.
The role requires the person to manage 3rd party access/voice inventory and doing invoice validation at a regional level for complete and accurate commercial inventory for one or more legal entities (GFR).
What you’ll be doing
•Data Entry of the invoices in paper format (scanned images or pdf) to STARS invoice upload format.
•Check circuit level & Invoice level details for each transformed invoice (pdf format) as per country wise mapping.
•Able to work independently to resolve issues.
•Ability to work accurately to tight timeframes.
•Download invoices from different mediums and save it on a single repository and repeat check is done accurately
•Follow through tasks and take ownership to ensure that transformed data meets the required standards
•Delivering excellent customer service without compromising business needs
•Ensure timely creation of IDs and transform the same within agreed SLA and Format
•This team serves as a single gate for receipt of invoices & inventories from all the countries across the globe.
•Keep track of all incoming data, highlight if data for a country is not received within SLA.
•Check for duplicate invoices, if found, raise the concern with BAU SPOC.
•Escalate queries to a team manager as appropriate and ensure these hand-offs are completed in a timely fashion
•Ensure all requests are handled within required service standard
•Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and customers alike
•Maintain regular and consistent attendance, punctuality and appearance
•Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the role and take responsibility for own learning
•Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to quality management
•Business experience in service/telecom industry.
•Experience in handling large sets of data in MS office tools
•Flexibility to work in shifts

•Strong excel skills – ability to manipulate and manage large data volumes.

•Commercially astute. Ability to interpret inventory and commercial data and work out the best approach/arguments to get the best resolution of each issue for BT
•Toughness – need to be sting but fair in discussions with supplier.
Other skills beneficial for the role are:
•Good knowledge of of basic Excel concepts
•Good knowledge of Telco products and inventory data would be advantage
•Good knowledge of BT internal trading processes and rules
