This role is based out of our One Braham, London office. We have a hybrid working model of 3 days together, 2 days wherever.

One area that will be undergoing radical transformation is provision. This transformation will drive significant improvements in customer & colleague experiences for our more complex order journeys. Both of which are crucial if we are to grow revenue, improve customer retention, remain cost competitive, be financially compliant & evolve BT in line with the market. 


This role plays a crucial role in that transformation. Leading the technical vision & transformation (the HOW) working closely & collaboratively with the Business cluster lead (who defines the WHAT). 


This role provides a real opportunity to drive powerful & tangible change through the digitalisation of internal and customer journeys, and use of AI technology to streamline processes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Defining the technical vision.
  • Leading technical teams to deliver on that vision.
  • Helping to unblock technical experts. 
  • Transforming service for both colleague (journeys) and customer (self-serve) journeys.
  • Improving technology E2E to support provision.
  • Ensuring we have the right technology to enable Business compliance to our financial & audit requirement.

Skills and Experience

  • Transformation leadership: driving IT or digital (self-serve) programmes with measurable business outcomes 
  • E2E knowledge: of technology supporting customers with particular focus on service/provision, project management, technical design & handover to service. Knowledge of self-serve platforms, Pega, ServiceNow or other provision environments a plus but not essential. 
  • Telco expertise: either product or technology.
  • Strategic vision: experience creating & executing long-term technology strategies with a link to business needs.
     

Experience:

  • Experience in provision environments
  • Experience making complex technology decisions in ambiguous settings
  • Experience working with agile teams & delivery cycles
  • Knowledge of relevant technologies and architecture (IT and Network) as they relate to provision, project management & technical design. 
  • Deep understanding of commercial objectives
  • Experience leading diverse multi-functional teams
