As the Adoption, Engagement, and Communications Professional for Building Products, you'll play a vital role in creating and delivering content that highlights how we're improving ways of working for our teams and stakeholders. You'll build strong relationships across various tribes, units, and central functions to lead the adoption of Wayfinder across BT Group. Your responsibilities will include creating materials, managing stakeholder engagement, and supporting internal events and communication efforts related to the Building Products Together initiative.
What you’ll be doing
- Wayfinder Service Adoption: You will be responsible for communicating the Wayfinder Service to colleagues across BT Group using established communication channels.
- Strategic Communications Planning: Develop and maintain a communications plan that collates various touchpoints and interactions for all related activities.
- Content Creation: Assist in planning, creating, and delivering content for internal events such as “Show the Things” and “Weeknotes.”
- Event Management: Support the execution of internal engagement programs for Building Products Together, ensuring that the content aligns with the objectives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Manage stakeholders to ensure they are informed about available communication channels and the types of content that can be shared.
- Material Development: Create supporting materials to enable tribes to communicate effectively with one another and key stakeholders, including masterclasses, tribe-specific content, and "Show the Things."
- Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Collect feedback on communications and contribute to the ongoing improvement of content and strategies.
The skills you'll need
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the talent to craft clear and engaging content for internal audiences.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in managing and building relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on content and objectives.
- Content Creation & Event Planning: Experience in creating content and supporting the execution of internal communications events and engagement programs.
- Creativity & Problem-Solving: Strong creative thinking to develop engaging content and innovative ways of delivering communication.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to review and refine content, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with organisational goals.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust communication strategies based on feedback, evolving needs, and changes within the organisation.
