Why this job matters

The Mobile propositions team (product & commercial marketing) define and take to market standout propositions to ensure we win in the market and drive momentum and value growth for Consumer. This team is accountable for delivering the Mobile P&L.


This role sits within Mobile propositions (product & commercial marketing), the team that will define, build and lead the execution of concepts that drive strong market differentiation and deliver our commercial ambition. Some examples of our propositions include our tariffs (what plans our customers take) as well as the benefits that sit within them like content, service, roaming & content.
 

What you’ll be doing

  1. Support Mobile (PAYM) Propositions and P&L delivery
  2. Inputs into the Proposition and Portfolio strategy for Mobile
  3. Defines and executes new propositions that target our core customer segments
  4. Identifies and executes propositional enhancements to optimise performance and customer engagement
  5. Own and executes the Go to Market plan for specific Mobile propositions ensuring plans are fully interlocked with Channels and Service.
  6. Manage stakeholder buy in and execution support for the propositions within their role
  7. Develop recognition as Mobile category expert

The skills and experience you will have under your belt

 

Must have

  • Experience in marketing and/or related commercial roles
  • Demonstrable experience in in proposition development and commercial marketing
  • Developing ability to establish credibility and respect, building strong working relationships with your stakeholders pan Consumer and BT
  • Creative and innovative mindset, willing to question conventional approaches
  • Strong organisational skills with a focus on planning and executing tasks effectively
  • Initiative to make things happen – translate solutions into creation and delivery of practical and workable marketing plans that have commercial/business impact
  • Excellent organisational abilities, including use of workflow management systems.
  • Familiarity with navigating large, complex organisational structures
  • Able to deal with ambiguity, with the ability to identify and utilise suitable resources to achieve practical solutions
     

Would be good to have

  • Mobile experience a nice to have but not essential
