To modernize and secure our physical access infrastructure, we are implementing a comprehensive transformation focused on identity assurance, access control modernisation, and operational efficiency.

What you’ll be doing

•    Lead architectural design for large-scale physical security systems (on-prem, cloud, and hybrid).
•    Define technical vision, roadmap, and architectural blueprints for secure, scalable solutions.
•    Translate business and security requirements into robust technical designs and E2E solutions across interacting systems.
•    Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, and clients to define and deliver secure, reliable solutions.
•    Provide technical leadership in development, PoCs, and code reviews in Python, Java, .NET and Rust.
•    Evaluate and integrate third-party security solutions, SDKs, and APIs (e.g., VMS, ACS, identity platforms).
•    Architect edge computing solutions include device firmware, analytics pipelines, and secure comms.
•    Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, physical security (information security) best practices, data privacy standards, and regulatory requirements.
•    Author architectural documentation including HLDs, LLDs, deployment diagrams, and integration guides.
•    Mentor junior architects and developers on technical and architectural best practices

Skills and Experience

•    Solid experience in software development and architecture, with experience in physical security systems.
•    Strong hands-on coding skills in Python, Java, .NETand Rust and in-depth understanding of Database systems – Oracle, MSSQL, PGSQL
•    Proven experience in designing and deploying systems involving:
o    Access control systems (ACS)
o    Video surveillance (VMS/NVRs)
o    Perimeter and intrusion detection
o    Identity and credential management

•    Deep understanding of network protocols, IoT security, edge computing, and cloud-native services.
•    Solid knowledge of cybersecurity, threat modeling, and secure communication practices.
•    Experience with microservices architecture, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
•    Understanding of PACS – Chubb, CCURE, Genetec and ability to work with the respective SDKs
•    Prior involvement in system integration projects, working with multi-vendor platforms and SDKs.
