EE is a top 5 UK advertiser and in this job you’ll help shape £160m of investment across the brand. Our current models show that media drives over 15% of total consumer sales and delivers our brand metric scores that drive the EE forward. In this role you’ll play an important part in designing and delivering media campaigns to hit EE’s brand measures and sales targets.

 

Working in the Media Team you’ll work at a fast pace in an environment with plenty of supportive challenge. We are always testing and learning on each product and constantly adapting what we do as a result to improve short term and long-term media efficiency and effectiveness.

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll manage digital delivery of media campaigns for EE. 
  • You’ll work with Planning,  Media and Campaign Managers to agree campaign KPIs as part of the briefing process, ensure campaigns are designed to deliver these KPIs and then evolve the campaigns mid flight to optimise delivery. 
  • You will assess daily/weekly campaign performance and make mid flight optimisation decisions using live data from multiple inputs and produce end of campaign PCA’s gathering smart insights and making sure that smart insights are applied to future campaigns.
  • You’ll work with the Media Agency and Media Audience Manager to implement an audience first approach to media plans and iterate or suppress audiences, and careful use of data based on objective as well as performance seen to date and action optimisation instructions. 
  • You will work closely with the Senior Media Effectiveness lead on the data inputs and interpretation of the econometric modelling
  • You’ll innovate to improve our plans, testing new ideas, initiatives, platforms and data sources.
  • You’ll also build industry knowledge and understanding:  developing an expert independent perspective on the UK media landscape.
  • You’ll learn loads quickly and hopefully progress up the ladder in the media team or into the Comms teams or other Commercial roles in the company. 
     

The skills and experience you will have under your belt

  • Experience in activating media campaigns across multiple digital platforms including Google, Meta and all other social platforms, programmatic, VOD/BVOD and OLV.
  • Deep understanding on the application of media data and media targeting solutions.
  • Experience with data integration projects - e.g. API, Analytics, etc 
  • Proven ability to set appropriate media targets and measuring commercial and brand targets for campaigns.
  • Proven ability to forecast performance delivery of media in terms of traffic and sales. 
  • Proven ability track direct and indirect campaign effectiveness and to make in flight campaign optimisation.
  • A passion for everything media and digital media, with an active interest and understanding of broader advertising industry trends 
  • Adept problem-solver and with a natural ability to prioritize tasks 
  • Superb stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with external media, social and creative agencies.
