Why this role matters
As a Commercial Manager for Mobile Trading, you’ll be accountable for delivering the PAYM acquisition trading plan. This role sits within Marketing and Commercial for EE’s Consumer function and is critical to the company's commercial strategy and profit and loss outcomes. You will work alongside Marketing, Finance, Base and the wider Trading team to report on EE’s current performance, identify opportunities and risks to the trading plan and recommend action to drive positive commercial outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
- Review acquisition trading performance and provide clear commercial recommendations.
- Present trading updates to senior leadership, including Directors and Managing Directors.
- Lead and manage the acquisition team to deliver against the trading plan.
- Drive cross‑functional activity across Marketing, Finance, and Commercial teams, influencing promotional plans and demand generation.
- Develop and deliver trading initiatives from business case creation through governance approval and execution.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across Retail, Contact Centre, and Digital, holding channels accountable for commercial targets.
- Analyse market insights and pricing to ensure competitiveness and positive share performance.
- Optimise customer communications and processes to grow acquisition, cross‑sell opportunities, and SIM Free performance.
