Why this job matters

The Base Enrichment and Household Integration chapters are the home for the ownership of our Customer Journey squads and these have a very significant commercial impact on Consumer.  

 

They are accountable for delivering revenue, churn, volume, value and NPS outcomes for both EE and BT brands, across all products – taking a household view across the main customer journeys. 

 

Our Commercial Marketing Executive will be the key support to the Product Owner for these squads deputizing ownership where necessary building personalized customer journeys, experiences and campaigns that help us to extend and deepen our existing customer relationships and building world class business cases and modelling with a test and learn mindset. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Help influence and shape requirements for new multi-channel activity from the wider business
  • Define the segment/offer targeting for a customer journey. 
  • Work alongside Product Owner to drive key commercial base KPIs - Churn, SRC, utilisation, engagement etc. 
  • Work with key business stakeholders to identify areas of optimisation
  • Work with the multidisciplinary squad to ensure the base customer journey is delivered from idea to execution.
  • Support the refining and prioritising of product backlog
  • Work with the squad to develop and deliver campaigns across multiple channels, e.g. Digital, Retail, Contact Centres. 
  • Build business cases, using insight and modelling to build scenarios
  • Drive base trials performance/KPIs including ensuring test and learn v control

  • Team player
  • Excellent commercial thinker
  • Excellent stakeholder management & influencing within the squad, but also with external stakeholder trading, digital, props & customer service teams
  • Use of insight to understand macro commercial and customer challenges, and how it impacts the approach of their squad
  • Commercial/marketing/proposition experience
  • Solution and simplicity focused, always able to break through complex issues
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Autonomous and able to think on their feet
  • Examples of being a self-starter in previous roles and able to take on and develop new skills
  • Ideally experience in working in agile operating models and working within squads
