Why this role matters

Winning in New Verticals is a strategic Consumer priority with a target of £5bn revenue by 2030. This will be achieved by establishing EE in new markets like Insurance, Security (Cyber & Home) and Gaming & Consumer Electronics.

We plan to enter these markets which will deliver by FY28, revenue budget of £0.9bn and margin of £0.2bn and then further growth opportunities to be explored, sized and driven to the ambition targets out to FY30

This role supports the New Market Marketing & commercial team to execute the distribution strategy and to drive & optimize the commercial performance to ensure the MTP ambition is realised

What you’ll be doing

  • Playing a key role in delivering our New Markets distribution strategy.
  • Supporting the planning, trading, and overall commercial performance of our gaming and tech portfolio to ensure we hit budget and MTP targets across volume, value, market share, and channel performance.
  • Contributing to the governance and trading cycle, ensuring we stay on track to meet our commercial objectives.
  • Activating in‑quarter commercial levers — including promotions, pricing, new product go‑to‑market, bundling, and upsell initiatives — to optimise trading performance.
  • Helping shape and execute the commercial plan and roadmap for New Markets across all channels, championing our omni‑channel strategy and ensuring best‑in‑class execution.

What skills you'll need

  • Understanding of financial/commercial performance mechanics and the levers to drive revenue, EBITDA and FCF. Able to biz case commercial interventions.
  • Experience of driving & optimising commercial performance and an entrepreneurial approach to driving growth.
  • Experience of implementing and driving change to improve commercial performance.
  • Experience of working cross business to drive change and optimize commercial performance.
  • Experience of pulling content and presenting to gain key stakeholder buy in.
  • Good to have knowledge on Gaming products and services.
