Why this role matters
This role plays a key part in supporting BT Consumer Digital product and commercial teams to optimise marketing and sales via Affiliate partners. You’ll work closely with partners and internal stakeholders to create effective customer campaigns to drive ROI. While you’ll focus on one of our core product categories, (Broadband, Mobile and Tech), you’ll also collaborate across the wider channel to support broader team priorities when needed.
What you’ll be doing
- Partner Management: Be the lead for managing our Affiliate agency partnership as well as other third party e-commerce experience tools.
- Campaign Management: Creating and managing affiliate marketing campaigns. This also involves collaborating with other teams, such as marketing, commercial, and product, to ensure a cohesive brand message and effective promotional strategies.
- Strategy & Planning: Developing and implementing comprehensive affiliate marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives. This includes identifying target audiences, selecting appropriate affiliate partners, and managing spend budget.
- Performance Analysis & Optimisation: Monitoring and analysing affiliate campaign performance. Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, conversion, click-through rates and CPA, and identifying areas for optimisation.
- Reporting & Communication: Preparing and presenting performance reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
What skills you’ll need
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and strategies, including SEO, social media marketing, and content marketing.
- Affiliate Marketing Knowledge: Proven experience in managing affiliate marketing programs, including familiarity with affiliate networks, tracking tools, and commission structures.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimise campaign performance.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships with affiliates and internal teams.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Experience of managing marketing cost budgets.
