This role is based in our Leeds office with hybrid working - 3 days together, 2 days wherever.

This role is best suited for junior to mid level engineers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Hold the solution and technical architecture of the MOBIUS application
  • Drive cloud-native design and development approach
  • Design and Tune Database for optimal performance
  • Works closely with business and product owners to achieve MVP
  • Design the solution for stability and scalability
  • Articulate and communicate design and technical solution
  • Apply Lean, Agile, DevOps and SRE practices based on the phase of the product development
  • Work with product and cloud platform teams for managing dependency across multiple value streams
  • Guide development teams and review code for quality
  • Use appropriate visualization graphs
  • Make Data-Driven Decisions

Skills and experience

Required

  • AWS specialized, with software engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, etc.
  • Re-architect application for cloud-native architecture
  • Hands-on in infrastructure maintenance
  • Building pipelines using different commercial and open source tools
  • Optimize resource utilization to achieve cost-effectiveness and scalability Self-motivated and focused to build high performing teams

 

Desired

  • Able to work with the teams to understand, develop and apply standards.
  • Knowledge of  tools like CloudBees, Sonar, Nexus
  • Migrate Data/Infrastructure from on-premise to cloud
  • Lead the response to incidents and outages, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure rapid resolution and minimal downtime 
  • Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to forecast capacity requirements and plan for future growth.
